Two local guys who love a well-lit house

Holiday Lights Cleveland is owned and run by Mark and Paul, the team behind Shamrock Services.

Our story

Every December, the same thing happens on every street in Northeast Ohio: one house lights up, and everyone slows down to look. Kids press their faces to car windows. Neighbors stop on their evening walk. For a few weeks, that house makes the whole street feel like the holidays.

We also know the other side of it: tangled strands, wobbly ladders in the cold, and a box of lights that never quite makes it out of the garage. So we started Holiday Lights Cleveland to make the first part easy and the second part someone else’s problem.

We’re not new to taking care of homes. For four years we’ve run Shamrock Services, our power washing business, helping homeowners around Cleveland keep their houses looking their best. Holiday Lights Cleveland grows out of that work, with the same attention to detail and the same respect for your property.

We design a display for your home, hang it, and take it down and store it after the holidays. All you have to do is enjoy it.

West Virginia University

Mark is a St. Ignatius graduate who went on to study at West Virginia University. Before starting Holiday Lights Cleveland, he was a crew lead at Cleveland Tent Rental, where he ran setup crews for outdoor events across the area. That job taught him how to plan a setup, keep a crew on schedule and get the details right when a customer’s big day depends on it.

For the past four years, he and Paul have run Shamrock Services, their own power washing business. He has also driven and worked for Young Bucks Tree Service, where he learned to work carefully and safely around people’s homes and yards, and has worked the counter at K and K Portage, where he learned that good service starts with listening. Mark brings that crew-lead mindset to every install: show up prepared, work safely, and leave the property looking better than we found it.

Paul is a St. Edward graduate with a background in construction. Working as a construction laborer, he learned to work hard, work safely at heights, and do the job right the first time.

For the past four years, Paul and Mark have run Shamrock Services, their power washing business, so he knows what it takes to earn a homeowner’s trust: clear prices, showing up when you said you would, and following through. He brings that same work ethic to every home we light.
